"A ONDA JA JOJ KAŽEM …" When I first visited Frankfurt I didn't imagine that in few years I'll be sitting in the McDonalds at the main train station at six in the morning and drinking extremely expensive and totally disguised coffee. This is how I was starting my semester abroad.
"HERE DIED THE SOCIALISM" I checked "accommodation provided by international office" on my Erasmus application but till the very last day, I didn't know where my place under the Marburg’s sun will be. Or how much will I pay for that luxury?
"OTHER CITIES HAVE UNIVERSITY, MARBURG IS A UNIVERSITY" I was living in Marburg for about a month when the semester has begun. Most of my lectures were canceled in the first week and my Russian course was the first I should attend. There was I, a little bit lost, with navigation on my phone searching a building where lectures were held.
"I SHOULD CHOOSE LISBON" It was in the beginning of March 2016, just a few days after my arrival in Marburg. I was standing in Mensa, student’s building and looking over the town at the castle on the hill. It was raining cats and dogs literally from the day when I first came to Marburg. “I should choose Lisbon” was the most spoken sentence by me. Lisbon was my second choice but at the end, I decided I want to improve my German language skills to the top level. Damn, was I optimistic.
